They are restless both night and day, and sleepy, although they often have difficulty falling asleep and may experience distressing dreams. The main focus of the remedy rests on the circulation, especially in relation to the head and chest. There is typically a sensation of heat bubbling and boiling up from the heart and chest to the head. Right-sided headaches accompanied by great chilliness may also be treated with this remedy, as may tuberculosis.
